My Dallas Code Camp 2007 experience was both insightful and beneficial. I have a few observations and suggestions for the next event.
This is a “Code Camp. Please spend less of the limited time on background discussion and more on code. Ex. One presenter spent 30+ min. “selling” their technology. Presenters should not snipe at other products, O/S, etc. This is more of a professional issue. Have a common repository, for the slides, code, etc., or provide links to the slides on the Dallas Code Camp web site. Suggestions, use the DotNetNuke document library. Is there any way to have more than one CC in a year? I would be iterested in the event even if there were not valuable prizes. If we can not not have a physical camp, could we have video talk such as appear on the learning area of asp.net?

One additional point, at this “ Code Camp” I did not see one of the presenters produce a single line of code! This raises a question, do they even know how to code?
