Code Camp Rules of Conduct

One of our goals at Code Camp is to provide attendees with information and materials that can help them succeed in their careers as developers or development team members. We want Code Camp to turn out to be positive experience to all those who attend. We have established a few simple guidelines that we expect everyone to follow.

Appropriate Language: The purpose of our event is to exchange technical information and expertise. Please avoid personal attacks, slurs, profanity and threats in your interactions as well as any legal rights violations. Everybody must be treated with respect and all conversations should take place at a professional level.

Venue/Event Location: We are able to bring Code Camp to you thanks to the organizers of the event but also thanks to our meetings venue sponsor. Our venue sponsor contributes to Code Camp not only by allowing to use of their facilities but also with everything that comes with it, from electricity to overtime pay for the employees that host us, set up the rooms before the event and clean them afterwards. Please pick up your trash and place it in the trash containers on your way out and try to leave chairs and tables as they were before our meetings start.

Liability: Each individual is responsible for his or her actions. Neither Code Camp organizers nor venue sponsor/owner shall be liable for an individual's actions.

In addition to upholding these rules of conduct, you are responsible for adhering to all local and national laws that pertain to the location of the events you attend.

Code Camp organizers reserve the right to amend or change these rules of conduct without notice; by attending the event you agree to periodically review this page and make sure you are doing your part.
